Major sale by İş Bankası
Türkiye İş Bankası has announced that it has transferred its 50 percent stake in Greeneco Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. to its subsidiary, İş Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş., for a price of 100 million dollars.
Türkiye İş Bankası has transferred the 50 percent stake it held in its subsidiary, Greeneco Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., to İş Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş., a company wholly owned by the bank. With this transaction, the bank no longer holds any partnership or voting rights in Greeneco Enerji. It was reported that the sale transaction took place on December 30, 2025.
The sale price of the shares, which had a value of approximately 3.5 billion TL in the bank's financial statements, was set at 100 million US dollars. It was announced that the first 20 million dollars of the sale price was collected in cash, while the remaining amount will be paid to İş Bankası within the year 2026.
According to the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the details of the transfer will be included in the footnotes of the financial report to be published on December 31, 2025.
With this sale transaction, İş Bankası has exited all its shares in Greeneco Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş.
