The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the Economic Confidence Index for March.
Accordingly, the economic confidence index, which was 99 in February, increased by 1 percent in March to reach 100.
Compared to the previous month, in March, the consumer confidence index increased by 0.02 percent to 79.4, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 1.5 percent to 103.5, the services sector confidence index increased by 1.5 percent to 120.4, the retail trade sector confidence index decreased by 1 percent to 113.3, and the construction sector confidence index decreased by 3.6 percent to 88.6.
