May inflation in Istanbul announced
According to data from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, retail prices in Istanbul rose by 2.83 percent in May.
In May 2025, the ITO Istanbul Consumer Price Index, which reflects retail price movements in Istanbul, showed an increase of 2.83 percent compared to the previous month.
Compared to the same month last year, the rate of price change in Istanbul in May 2025 was recorded at 46.57 percent. This rate was calculated based on the ITO 2023=100 based ITO Istanbul Consumer Price Index.
In April, according to the calculations of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, monthly inflation was determined to be 3.21 percent, and annual inflation was 47.21 percent.
