Measures imposed on solar panel imports from 5 countries
The decision to implement anti-dumping measures on solar panel imports originating from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, and Jordan has been published in the Official Gazette.
The Communiqué on the Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports, prepared by the Ministry of Trade, has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, a security deposit of 25 dollars per square meter will be collected on imports of "photovoltaic cells assembled in modules or made up into panels" (solar panels) originating from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, and Jordan.
WILL ENTER INTO FORCE IN 7 DAYS
The same measure was already being applied to imports of solar panels originating from China.
The communiqué will enter into force in 7 days.
