Mehmet Şimşek to hold meetings in Riyadh
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek has traveled to Riyadh to attend the "Future Investment Initiative" conference, Saudi Arabia's most significant global event.
According to information obtained from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Minister Mehmet Şimşek will meet with Douglas Garven Alexander, the UK Minister of State for Trade Policy and Economic Security, Indian Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal, and Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa as part of his one-day visit.
Şimşek will be one of the keynote speakers at a panel titled "Policymakers Board: Can Leaders Offer Optimism Instead of Caution?" within the scope of the "Future Investment Initiative" conference, which is being held for the 8th time this year as the country's most important global event.
The panel will also feature ministers from Saudi Arabia, India, and the United Kingdom, as well as International Finance Corporation Managing Director Makhtar Diop.
Minister Şimşek will also participate in investor meetings as part of his Riyadh itinerary.
