Mercedes announces: It will recall 250,000 vehicles
German automaker Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will recall approximately 250,000 vehicles worldwide due to a potential fire risk.
According to the German Federal Motor Transport Authority, Mercedes-Benz will recall approximately 250,000 vehicles worldwide, including 37,000 in Germany, as a precautionary measure against a potential fire risk.
The recall will affect Mercedes' 2023 production models of the AMG GT, C-Class, CLE, E-Class, EQE, EQS, GLC, S-Class, and SL.
WILL REPLACE CERTAIN PARTS FREE OF CHARGE
According to the German news agency DPA, Mercedes-Benz will replace certain parts of the vehicles affected by the fire risk free of charge as a precautionary measure.
The planned replacement will take between 2 and 5.5 hours, depending on the equipment.
