MHP calls for tax debt restructuring

MHP Deputy Chairman and Konya MP Mustafa Kalaycı announced that there are serious demands from citizens regarding the restructuring of tax debts. Kalaycı emphasized that due to the impact of financial tightening policies, tradespeople, employers, and farmers are experiencing payment difficulties.

"THEY ARE STRUGGLING TO PAY TAX AND PREMIUM DEBTS"

MHP's Kalaycı stated that current economic conditions are negatively affecting many segments of society and used the following expressions:

“With the impact of these tightening policies, taxpayers, employers, our tradespeople, and our farmers are truly struggling to pay their tax and premium debts due to the burden of financing and interest. There is an intense demand specifically for debt restructuring, not just for things like tax base increases or stock amnesties.”

"THE MOST INTENSE DEMAND IS DEBT RESTRUCTURING"

According to a report in the pro-government newspaper Türkiye, Mustafa Kalaycı stated that citizens are expecting restructuring rather than debt forgiveness.

Kalaycı said the following on the subject:

“As the MHP, regarding practices related to taxes and insurance premiums, the primary demand we receive from society is for the restructuring of tax and insurance premium debts. The situation is that, due to the impact of these tightening policies, taxpayers, employers, our tradespeople, and our farmers are truly struggling to pay their tax and premium debts due to the burden of financing and interest. There is an intense demand specifically for debt restructuring, not just for things like tax base increases or stock amnesties. The demands reaching us are in this direction; whether we encounter them in the field, in Parliament, or at our party, this is the primary demand being conveyed to us.”
