Midday in the markets: Latest on the stock exchange, Dollar, Euro, and gold

In international markets, as of 1:00 PM, the euro/dollar parity was at 1.0830, the sterling/dollar parity at 1.2620, and the dollar/yen parity at 155.80.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 32.2750 liras and the euro at 34.9670 liras.

The ounce of gold is trading at 2 thousand 370 dollars in international markets, an increase of 0.5 percent, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 83.3 dollars, a decrease of 0.2 percent.
