Minister announces: 878 million lira in support payments made
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have made 878 million lira in Social and Economic Support (SED) payments this month to support children socially and cover their educational expenses.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, in a written statement, emphasized that they place special importance on services for children and that they diversify these services by considering the different needs of children.
Stating that they support children alongside their families and within their social environment through SED, Göktaş noted that they are working to ensure children grow up as self-confident, educated, and healthy individuals who possess national values.
Conveying that they strive for children to grow up primarily with family affection and warmth through family-oriented social service models, Minister Göktaş stated the following:
"We believe that children growing up in a family environment plays an indispensable role in protecting social values. In this context, we have made 878 million lira in SED payments for May to support children socially and cover their educational expenses."
