Minister announces: Payments have started to be deposited into accounts
Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş announced, "We have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion liras in Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families."
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 5.4 billion liras in assistance for disabled individuals in need of home care and their families has started to be deposited into accounts this month.
Göktaş stated that a payment of 10 thousand 125 liras per person is made monthly, noting that an average of 544 thousand people benefit from this assistance.
Göktaş's statement is as follows:
"We have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion liras in Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families. An average of 544 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance monthly. I wish for these payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families. As a Ministry, we will continue our efforts to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent approach."
