Minister announces: Payments start hitting accounts today

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that 944 million 907 thousand Turkish Lira in agricultural support payments will be transferred to farmers' accounts.

Yumaklı shared the information regarding the agricultural support payments to be made to farmers on his social media account.

Wishing that the support payments be beneficial and prosperous, Yumaklı stated, "We are transferring a total of 944 million 907 thousand lira in agricultural support payments to our farmers' accounts."

Minister Yumaklı's post also provided details regarding the support payments in question.

Accordingly, 842 million 765 thousand lira will be paid for hazelnut area-based income support, 84 million 663 thousand lira for milk analysis support, 16 million 840 thousand lira for heifer purchase support, 392 thousand 900 lira for animal genetic resources support, and 246 thousand 100 lira for certified seed production support.

On the other hand, the hazelnut area-based income support will be paid on days determined according to the last digit of the farmers' ID and tax identification numbers. Other supports will be transferred to farmers' accounts today in a single installment.
