Minister announces: We have deposited the funds into accounts
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 4.2 billion TL has been paid to those in need under the 'Home Care Assistance' program.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş recalled that the Home Care Assistance provided by the Ministry was launched in 2006 with the aim of supporting disabled individuals primarily within their own families.
MONTHLY PAYMENT OF 7 THOUSAND 608 LIRA
Stating that a monthly payment of 7 thousand 608 lira is made per eligible beneficiary under the Home Care Assistance program, Minister Göktaş noted the following:
“We have deposited a total of 4.2 billion lira in Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families. Currently, 560 thousand of our citizens are benefiting from Home Care Assistance. Within the framework of our Century of Turkey vision, we will continue our efforts as a Ministry to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability remains sustainable with a transparent approach. I wish for these payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families.”
