Minister Göktaş announced: Deposited into accounts
Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş announced, "We have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion liras in Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families."
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have deposited a total of 5.4 billion liras in Home Care Assistance payments into accounts this month to provide economic support to fully dependent citizens in need of care and their families.
In a written statement, Minister Göktaş recalled that the Home Care Assistance program was launched in 2006 with the idea of supporting individuals with disabilities primarily within their families.
Stating that they prioritize the care of individuals with disabilities at home in a way that preserves family integrity, Göktaş noted that a monthly payment of 10 thousand 125 liras is made per eligible beneficiary under the scope of the said assistance.
Minister Göktaş stated the following:
"An average of 540 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance monthly. We have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion liras in Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens cared for at home and their families. I wish for the payments to be beneficial to all our citizens with disabilities and their families. As a Ministry, we will continue our efforts to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent approach."
