1 MILLION PEOPLE WILL RETIRE EARLY

With the new regulation in the pension system, the early retirement dream of 1 million people will come true. Concrete steps continue to be taken for the Bağ-Kur premium equalization announced last year.

According to the news on A Haber, if the reform covers all periods, Bağ-Kur insured men who were insured before September 8, 1999, and who will be affected by the regulation, will be able to retire at 60, and women at 58.

7200 DAY DETAIL

Those who switched from Bağ-Kur to SSK within 3.5 years will gain the right to retire under the scope of Bağ-Kur once 7200 days are completed.

WHO WILL BE ABLE TO BENEFIT?

In addition to businesses described as small tradespeople such as grocers, butchers, barbers, hairdressers, and shoe repairers, it is expected that businesses employing 10 or fewer personnel will also be able to retire early under the scope of the regulation.

Furthermore, the regulation is planned to be implemented in the medium term. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan had underlined that work aimed at reducing the number of premium days for tradespeople is continuing.

In his statement, Işıkhan had expressed the following:

"As the Ministry, we will have some variables regarding this issue. We have started our work. They are actually gaining 5 years here; we are granting them the right to retire 5 years earlier. We have received our instructions."
