Minister Işıkhan's statement on holiday bonuses: When will they be deposited?
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made a statement regarding the holiday bonuses to be paid to retirees. He stated that the bonuses, which have been increased from 3,000 liras to 4,000 liras, will be deposited into accounts following parliamentary approval.
Following the announcement by AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler that the retiree holiday bonus will be increased from 3,000 liras to 4,000 liras, all eyes have turned to Parliament. The regulation, which is being handled within the scope of an omnibus bill, is expected to pass through Parliament shortly.
Once the regulation is accepted in Parliament, it will be submitted to the approval of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Following the President's signature, it will be published in the Official Gazette and enter into force.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan also made a statement on the matter, noting that the retirees' holiday bonuses will be deposited into their accounts once the legal process is completed.
