Moody’s upgraded Halkbank’s Baseline Credit Assessment from “Caa1” to “B3”; the bank’s long-term deposit ratings were maintained at “Ba3.”
International credit rating agency Moody’s upgraded Türkiye Halk Bankası A.Ş.’s Baseline Credit Assessment from “Caa1” to “B3.”
In Halkbank’s statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that the rating update was carried out by Moody’s on July 3, 2026.
According to the statement, the bank’s Long-Term Local Currency Counterparty Risk Rating and Long-Term Foreign Currency Counterparty Risk Rating were affirmed at “Ba3.”
Moody’s also kept Halkbank’s Long-Term Local Currency Deposit Rating and Long-Term Foreign Currency Deposit Rating at “Ba3.” The outlook for these ratings was reported to be “stable.”
