Mopaş Marketçilik, a well-known brand in the retail sector, announced in a notification to the Public Disclosure Platform (PDP) that a portion of its financial assets is held in the Hedef Portföy Money Market Participation Fund (HPH), which is currently subject to a liquidation process.
According to the company's statement, Mopaş's total financial asset value is approximately 2.52 billion liras. It was reported that 20.4 percent of these assets are invested in the fund coded HPH. This ratio corresponds to approximately 514 million liras.
The statement sent to the PDP noted that legal and administrative initiatives aimed at collecting the principal and accumulated earnings held in the fund are being closely monitored with the relevant institutions. It was stated that the liquidation and repayment processes are continuing within the framework of legal regulations and official procedures.
The impact of the fund investigation and related liquidation decisions, which have become a major topic in capital markets, on the financial positions of real-sector companies is also being closely watched. Mopaş's notification serves as a new example of disclosures made by companies with assets in these funds via the PDP.
Mopaş also emphasized that its current financial resources, strong equity structure, and operational cash-generating capacity are sufficient to continue its commercial activities.
