Most productive season experienced in the Black Sea: Anchovy exports increased

The Black Sea experienced its most productive season in recent years this season. Across Turkey, 288 thousand 735 kilograms of anchovy exports, worth 758 thousand 405 dollars, were carried out to 11 countries in January of this year.

In the same period last year, exports worth 568 thousand 942 dollars, corresponding to 109 thousand 34 kilograms, had been made to 8 countries.

MOST ANCHOVY EXPORTS WERE MADE TO GERMANY

While the highest volume of anchovy exports was made to Germany with 190 thousand 454 dollars, this country was followed by Ukraine with 144 thousand 759 dollars and France with 129 thousand 120 dollars.

In January of this year, a total of 288 thousand 735 kilograms of anchovy exports, worth 758 thousand 405 dollars, were carried out, including 190 thousand 454 dollars to Germany, 144 thousand 759 dollars to Ukraine, 129 thousand 120 dollars to Belgium, 124 thousand 844 dollars to France, 121 thousand 594 dollars to the United States, 22 thousand 433 dollars to the TRNC, 9 thousand 582 dollars to Canada, 8 thousand 582 dollars to Switzerland, 2 thousand 659 dollars to Greece, 2 thousand 254 dollars to Romania, and 1 thousand 687 dollars to the United Arab Emirates.
