Musk's criticisms lead to a drop in Tesla shares
Elon Musk's harsh criticism of Trump's tax cut bill has caused a significant decline in Tesla shares.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has harshly criticized the tax cut bill that US President Donald Trump has brought to the agenda in Congress.
These criticisms by Musk led to Tesla shares losing more than 10 percent of their value.
In a statement made on the social media platform X, Musk described the tax cut bill, which Trump introduced as "A Great Beautiful Bill," as a "disgusting disgrace."
Musk expressed his reaction by saying, "I'm sorry, but I can't take this anymore."
Following these statements, Tesla's market value was negatively affected, and shares fell below 300 dollars. This outburst by Musk, which came after his departure from his advisory role to Trump, further increased the tension between the two figures and negatively impacted Tesla's stock market performance.
