National Milk Council announces raw milk price
According to the announcement on the council's website, the recommended raw milk price has been set, effective from January 22.
The National Milk Council (USK) has decided to set the recommended raw milk price effective from January 22, such that the producer will receive a net 22.22 Turkish Lira per liter, ensuring that this amount reaches their hands.
Accordingly, for raw cow's milkwith a fat contentof 3.6 percentand a protein content of 3.2 percent,the recommendedselling priceis as follows: Excluding raw milk subsidies, it was determined that producers will receive a net 22.22 liras per liter. Cooling, transportation, and other current expenses if covered by the producer side,these expenses will be paid additionally to the producer. For every 0.1 change in thebase fat and protein ratios,a 33 kurusprice difference will be paid.
According to the announcement, rawThe raw milkrecommended pricewill be re-evaluated in April 2026.
