Netflix Turkey has increased subscription fees! Here are the new prices for the Basic, Standard, and Premium plans...
Netflix has increased its subscription fees in Turkey. With the update made on the night of June 4, the prices for the Basic, Standard, and Premium plans have risen.
As of the night of June 4, Netflix has implemented a price hike on its subscription fees in Turkey.
The prices for the Basic, Standard, and Premium plans have been updated to 189.99 TL, 289.99 TL, and 379.99 TL, respectively.
PRICES RISE ALONG WITH EXCHANGE RATES
This price hike, the second one this year, is being linked to the impact of fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. Given the economic conditions in Turkey, it was expected that Netflix would increase its prices. Changes in exchange rates have caused the platform to reconsider its pricing in Turkey.
THE SITUATION IN OTHER COUNTRIES
For now, Netflix has not made any price changes in countries outside of Turkey. However, it is thought that similar increases could occur in other countries due to fluctuations in exchange rates. It is stated that the price increases in Turkey are directly linked to economic factors.
