New ban decision for diesel exports from Russia
The Russian government has extended the ban on the export of diesel, marine fuel, and kerosene until October 31 in order to balance fuel supply in the domestic market.
Russia has extended the duration of the ban on the export of diesel, marine fuel, and kerosene. In a written statement from the government, it was stated that the decision aims to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market.
According to the statement, the ban on the export of diesel, marine fuel, and kerosene will remain in effect until October 31. It was noted that the ban on gasoline exports will continue until January 31, 2027.
It is reported that pressures regarding fuel supply have increased in Russia recently. It is stated that many facilities have been taken into maintenance following Ukraine's drone attacks on oil refineries in Russia.
While restrictions on fuel sales are being implemented in some regions of the country, the government had also limited gasoline and diesel fuel exports as part of these measures.
