New decision regarding the usage period of mobile phones brought from abroad!
AKP Deputy Chairman responsible for Foreign Affairs Zafer Sırakaya announced that the period for using mobile phones brought from abroad in Turkey without registration will be extended from 120 days to 180 days.

The statement regarding the matter came from AKP Deputy Chairman responsible for Foreign Affairs Zafer Sırakaya.
Sharing on his X account, AKP's Sırakaya stated, "With the new regulation to be implemented, if an application is made for 'Temporary communication' via e-Government for mobile phones brought from abroad, the usage period of the mobile devices can be extended twice for 30 days each".

With the regulation, the period for using mobile devices brought from abroad in Turkey without registration will be increased to 180 days. Those who request a time extension via e-Government before the 120-day period expires will be able to use the phones they brought from abroad for up to 180 days.
It is not yet known when the regulation in question will come into effect.
