The record-breaking exchange rates have increased the prices of technological products. For this reason, citizens have turned to refurbished technological products.

Parts of broken or damaged mobile phones and tablets were being renewed and offered for reuse.

The Ministry of Trade has also taken a new decision regarding the sale of second-hand technological products.

Previously, companies could optionally register the technological devices they refurbished in the Ministry of Trade's system. However, with the new regulation, the registration process has become mandatory.

While it has become mandatory for companies to register in order to sell refurbished mobile phones or tablets, the regulation aims to prevent informality in the second-hand phone market and ensure that consumers can access these products reliably.
