New price hike on the way for gasoline: Here are the current prices
According to industry sources, a price hike for gasoline is expected on Saturday. Due to the sliding scale (eşel mobil) system, it is anticipated that a portion of the increase will be covered by the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV).
Fluctuations in global oil prices and exchange rates continue to cause price volatility in the fuel market. According to information obtained from industry sources, a price increase of 1.43 TL per liter of gasoline is expected starting Saturday.

It is stated that the full amount of the expected increase will not be reflected at the pump. Under the sliding scale (eşel mobil) system, it is projected that 25 percent of the hike will be covered by the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV), and therefore, it is expected to be reflected on the signs as an increase of approximately 1.06 TL.

The calculated 4.35 TL discount on gasoline was not reflected in the pump price paid by drivers. Since the entire amount of the aforementioned discount was evaluated within the scope of the ÖTV regulation, no changes were made to the signs at fuel stations.

CURRENT PRICES IN THREE MAJOR CITIES
According to the latest pump prices included in the sources, the prices for gasoline, diesel, and LPG in Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir are as follows:
| Region | Gasoline | Diesel | LPG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Istanbul European Side | 67.24 TL | 80.01 TL | 33.79 TL |
| Istanbul Anatolian Side | 67.08 TL | 79.87 TL | 33.19 TL |
| Ankara | 68.20 TL | 81.14 TL | 33.89 TL |
| İzmir | 68.50 TL | 81.41 TL | 33.79 TL |

Fuel prices are determined based on refinery exit prices, distribution costs, tax items, international oil prices, and changes in exchange rates. For this reason, small price differences can be seen between cities and stations.
