New regulation coming for real estate listings: Fines will be imposed on those who do not comply

New measures will be taken to prevent speculative price increases in the real estate market and to curb information pollution in listings on online real estate platforms.

According to the draft prepared by the Ministry of Trade, for residential sales made through real estate websites, it will not be possible to enter multiple listings for the same property with different prices.

According to the report by Mithat Yurdakul from Milliyet, in order to prevent the activities of unauthorized real estate agents, the requirements for authorization certificates will be eased, and professional experience will no longer be required from real estate consultants who meet all other conditions.

FINES WILL BE IMPOSED

Platforms that do not comply with the regulation, which aims to prevent speculative price increases in real estate and curb information pollution in listings on online real estate platforms, will be subject to fines.
