New regulation from the CMB: Entry fee increased

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) regulation regarding amendments to the Investor Compensation Center (YTM) regulation has been published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the entry fee required for participation in the YTM has been increased from 50 thousand liras to 10 million liras. The fee will be redetermined annually by taking into account the revaluation rate announced each year in accordance with the Tax Procedure Law No. 213.

Furthermore, with the amendment, the amount that will expire and be transferred to the YTM in the following calendar year has been increased from 250 liras and over to 5 thousand liras and over.

On the other hand, all kinds of deposits and receivables that will expire in the following calendar year, regardless of their amount, will be published in list form on the homepages of the investment firm's own websites from the beginning of April of the current year until the end of the following calendar year, and the dates on which the deposits and receivables will expire will be included in the lists.
