New sales move from the SDIF

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) has decided to put the Treasury-owned shares of HES Hacılar Elektrik AŞ (Hes Kablo) and Erciyes Çelik Halat AŞ (Çelik Halat) up for sale again. According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, a total estimated value of 18.6 billion TL has been set for the 30 billion Hes Kablo shares, which represent 100 percent of the Treasury's holdings with a nominal value of 0.01 TL each, and the 21.9 million Çelik Halat shares held by Boyçelik Metal AŞ, which represent 27.49 percent of the company with a nominal value of 1 TL each.

The deposit amount required for those wishing to participate in the tender has been announced as 930 million TL. It was reported that bids can be submitted until September 8 and the tender will be held on September 9.

The SDIF had canceled the third tender it held at the beginning of July due to a lack of sufficient bids. This new sales attempt is being carried out following the failure of previous tenders.
