New step from the Central Bank: Data Research Center established
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) has launched the Data Research Center (VERİM) project, offering researchers secure access to micro-level data.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) has implemented the Data Research Center (VERİM) project to encourage data-driven research. This center will allow researchers to securely access micro-level data.
In a statement issued by the TCMB, it was noted that the center will support scientific studies on topics such as monetary policy, price stability, financial stability, and sustainable development. These studies will be conducted in alignment with the TCMB Research Agenda.
It was stated that the center is open to collaboration with public institutions, academic circles, and international organizations. Access to data will be provided within the framework of the TCMB's secure data access rules, exclusively through physical and software infrastructure specifically allocated for VERİM within the TCMB.
The application process and detailed information will be available on the VERİM page on the official TCMB website.
