New tender to be held for the privatization of Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina

A new tender will be held for the privatization of the Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina through the "granting of operating rights" method for a period of 40 years.

The announcement regarding the matter by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance's Privatization Administration (ÖİB) has been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina, owned by Türkiye Denizcilik İşletmeleri AŞ, will be privatized through the "granting of operating rights" method for 40 years.

For the tender to be organized within this scope, the temporary guarantee amount has been set at 120 million liras, the tender specification and promotional document fee at 150 thousand liras, and the deadline for bid submission as May 29.

The tender will be conducted via the "bargaining procedure" by receiving sealed bids from multiple bidders and holding negotiations, and will be concluded with an open auction attended by the bidders who continue in the negotiation process.

The tender held in 2021 for the privatization of the Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina was canceled by a Presidential Decree. The tender launched in 2022 for the privatization of the port was also canceled as sufficient bids could not be received.

On the other hand, according to another announcement by the ÖİB published in the Official Gazette, 10 properties in 5 provinces—4 in Aydın, two each in Istanbul and Şanlıurfa, and one each in Antalya and Nevşehir—will be privatized through the sale method.

The deadline for bid submission for the properties in Aydın, Antalya, and Nevşehir has been set as May 7, for the properties in Şanlıurfa as May 8, for the property in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district as May 9, and for the property in the Esenyurt district as May 14.
