New year, new price hikes! This time, repair and calibration fees for meters have increased

The Ministry of Industry and Technology has announced the repair and calibration fees for meters for the year 2024.

For electricity meters, calibration fees have been set at 59 liras for single-phase meters and 77 liras for three-phase meters. Repair fees for these meters will be 77 liras for single-phase and 88 liras for three-phase units.

In 2024, the repair, maintenance, and calibration fees for water, electricity, and gas meters were regulated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. This change was published in the Official Gazette to be effective as of January 1, 2024.

No fees will be charged for meters that are rejected during inspection. The new fee schedule will be posted in repair and calibration stations in a clearly visible manner.

For water meters, repair fees that do not require calibration or part replacement will range from 34 liras to 107 liras, depending on the nominal flow rate. For electricity meters, calibration fees were set at 59 liras for single-phase and 77 liras for three-phase meters. Repair fees for these meters were set at 77 liras for single-phase and 88 liras for three-phase units. Repair fees for gas meters that do not require part replacement will range from 84 liras to 2 thousand 493 liras, depending on their class.
