The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the paid employee statistics for November 2023.
Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors increased by 1.8 percent in November 2023 compared to the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 14 million 833 thousand 144 in the same month of the previous year, it became 15 million 106 thousand 556 in November 2023.
When looking at the sub-details of paid employees; in November 2023, the number of paid employees decreased by 1.3 percent annually in the industry sector, increased by 10.2 percent in the construction sector, and increased by 2.1 percent in the trade-services sector.
Number of paid employees decreased by 0.2 percent monthly
The total number of paid employees in the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors decreased by 0.2 percent in November 2023 compared to the previous month.
When looking at the sub-details of paid employees; in November 2023, paid employees decreased by 0.5 percent monthly in the industry sector, increased by 0.2 percent in the construction sector, and remained unchanged in the trade-services sector.
