Oil exploration licenses granted for 2 fields in that province: Operations will last 5 years
According to the decision published by MAPEG in the Official Gazette, Wali Petrol Limited Şirketi will conduct oil exploration activities in two fields in Erzincan.
The General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has granted oil exploration licenses for two separate fields located within the provincial borders of Erzincan.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the license was granted to Wali Petrol Limited Şirketi. The company will be able to conduct oil exploration activities in the designated areas for a period of 5 years.
The surface areas of the fields covered by the decision were announced as 14 thousand 861 hectares and 14 thousand 862 hectares. With these licenses, the company is expected to carry out exploration and licensing activities in the region over the next five-year period.
