Ziraat Finance Group's new bank, Ziraat Dinamik, has received its operating license.
According to the statement made by the bank, Ziraat Dinamik, which received its establishment permit last year, was granted its operating license by the BRSA's decision dated October 31, 2024.
Cüneyt Sağlık, Ziraat Bank Executive Vice President of Digital Banking and Payment Systems and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ziraat Dinamik Bank, stated that digital banking has undergone a significant transformation in recent years due to the rapid development of technology and changing user needs, noting that banking transactions have become faster, more secure, and more accessible thanks to mobile applications and innovative financial services.
Sağlık noted that, especially with the momentum gained by digitalization during the COVID-19 pandemic, they have observed that the traditional banking approach has been surpassed, and opportunities for both competition and cooperation with FinTech companies have increased.
Emphasizing that Ziraat Bank is the bank with the highest number of digital banking customers in Turkey, with approximately 23 million active digital customers, Sağlık stated, "On the other hand, Ziraat Dinamik Bank was established with the aim of further expanding the Ziraat Finance Group's customer base, reaching every customer in our country, creating a difference with a new customer experience and a new face, and investing in a new service model without physical branches and in the future from today."
