Payment plan for 2025 paid military service loans announced
While the fee for paid military service for 2025 has been announced as 243,013 Turkish Lira, loan options have come to the fore for those unable to pay this amount. Banks' interest rates and payment plans have begun to be researched carefully.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has announced the paid military service fee for the first six months of 2025 as 243,013 Turkish Lira and 14 kuruş. Those who wish to perform paid military service must pay this amount before a certain date. Some individuals take out loans to pay the fee.
CAN A LOAN BE TAKEN OUT FOR PAID MILITARY SERVICE?
According to the decision of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), there is a 12-month maturity limit for loan amounts over 100,000 Turkish Lira. It is possible to take out a loan for paid military service, but it must be repaid within a maximum of 12 months.
In 2025, interest rates for loans requested for paid military service start at around 3.55 percent.
Accordingly, if a loan of 243,013 Turkish Lira is taken out, it approaches 321,911 Turkish Lira at the end of 12 months. The monthly installment amount is 26,826 Turkish Lira.
If a loan of 100,000 Turkish Lira is desired, the monthly payment reaches 6,978 Turkish Lira.
