Police operation against stockbroker Nihat Özçelik! Taken into custody
Stockbroker Nihat Özçelik, who previously faced a police investigation over allegations of stock market manipulation, has been taken into custody in a police operation.
Teams from the Istanbul Organized Crime Branch took stockbroker Nihat Özçelik into custody as part of an ongoing investigation.
It was learned that Özçelik was taken into custody on December 16 on charges of 'threat' and 'blackmail'.

Özçelik was previously being tried with a request for up to 38 years in prison on allegations of bribing a police officer and attempting to influence a judicial official in connection with a separate investigation.
