Poll: What is the most discussed issue in Turkey? Citizens have only one topic on their agenda

The latest public opinion research conducted in Turkey has revealed which issues are at the forefront of the public's agenda. This poll, conducted by Aksoy Research, showed that economic problems are the public's biggest concern. The rise in inflation and the deepening of the economic crisis are weakening citizens' purchasing power, while insufficient salary increases are further exacerbating the cost-of-living crisis.

The poll results were shared on the social media platform X and revealed that 56 percent of participants see the economy as Turkey's biggest problem. While law follows the economy with 16 percent, issues such as terrorism, education, health, and security were ranked at lower rates.

DETAILS OF THE POLL RESULTS

According to the results of the poll, Turkey's most important agenda items were ranked as follows:

  • Economy: 56%
  • Law: 16%
  • Terrorism: 7%
  • Education: 5.5%
  • Earthquake: 3.7%
  • Health: 3.7%
  • Security: 3%
  • Foreign Policy: 2.2%
  • Municipalities: 2%
  • Other: 0.8%

These results once again demonstrate that the government cannot ignore economic problems. On the public's agenda, the economy stands out as the most important issue, surpassing all other topics.
