Price hike for YHT tickets: How much is the Istanbul-Ankara ticket now?
The Turkish State Railways has decided to increase passenger transport fares. TCDD has raised YHT ticket prices. With the hike, the Ankara-Istanbul ticket price has increased from 430 TL to 540 TL, the Ankara-Konya ticket price from 200 TL to 250 TL, and the Ankara-Eskisehir line ticket price from 225 TL to 280 TL.
The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) has implemented a 25.6 percent increase in High-Speed Train (YHT) ticket prices.
Consequently, the Ankara-Istanbul ticket price has been raised from 430 TL to 540 TL.
The Ankara-Konya ticket price was increased from 200 TL to 250 TL, and the ticket price on the Ankara-Eskisehir line was raised from 225 TL to 280 TL.
Meanwhile, the Konya-Istanbul ticket price was increased from 630 TL to 790 TL, Konya-Eskisehir from 290 TL to 390 TL, Konya-Sivas from 675 TL to 800 TL, Konya-Karaman from 110 TL to 175 TL, and the Konya-Izmit high-speed train ticket from 600 TL to 750 TL.
TCDD increased high-speed train fares 5 times in 2022 and 3 times in 2023. YHT ticket prices were last increased in September of last year.
