Price hikes for gasoline, cigarettes, and alcohol
With a decision published in the Official Gazette, price hikes have been implemented on items ranging from fuel and gasoline to fruit juice and cigarettes.
The special consumption tax amounts to be applied in 2026have been determined. The decision was published in the Official Gazette with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan.
Accordingly,price hikes have been appliedto everything from fuel and gasoline to fruit juice and cigarettes.
According to thedecision, the SCT amount on cigarettesrose to 17.2 liras.increased.
Rakiat 1705 TL, Gin and Vodka at 1919 TL SCT will be applied.
Colas,and fruit juicesand plain sodas, a35 percent ratewill be applied.
The SCT (Special Consumption Tax) on 95-octane gasoline rose to 14.8 liras per liter, while it reached 13.9 liras for diesel.
