Price of a kilogram of gold rises to 2 million 550 thousand liras

The price of a kilogram of standard gold, which saw a low of 2 million 548 thousand liras and a high of 2 million 556 thousand liras in the gold market, ended the day at 2 million 550 thousand liras, an increase of 2.4 percent. The price of a kilogram of standard gold had closed Monday, April 8, at 2 million 490 thousand liras.

In the Borsa Istanbul Precious Metals and Precious Stones Market (KMKTP), the total transaction volume for gold was 3 billion 253 million 248 thousand 953.82 liras, and the transaction amount was 1,355.21 kilograms.

The total transaction volume for all metals reached the level of 3 billion 300 million 257 thousand 943.48 liras.

The institutions with the highest transaction volumes in the gold market today were listed as Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Osmanlı Döviz ve Altın Yetkili Müessese, Özbey Kıymetli Madenler, İstanbul Altın Rafinerisi, and NMGlobal Kıymetli Madenler.
