Published in the Official Gazette: Good news for BAĞ-KUR members with premium debts
BAĞ-KUR members with premium debts and their dependents will continue to benefit from healthcare services until the end of the year.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has signed a decision published in the Official Gazette, implementing an important regulation for BAĞ-KUR insured individuals who have more than 60 days of premium debt. According to the decision, BAĞ-KUR members whose health coverage was suspended due to premium debt, along with their dependents, will be able to continue benefiting from healthcare services.
Under the scope of this regulation, the right can be utilized until December 31, 2026.
APPLIED EVERY YEAR
This extension of the deadline, which concerns BAĞ-KUR insured individuals, is carried out periodically as it has been in previous years. The decision, which aims to ensure that insured individuals with premium debts can continue to access healthcare services, is published in the Official Gazette and enters into force every year.
