Published in the Official Gazette: Procedures and principles regarding KOSGEB support have been reorganized
The support programs of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) will be organized by taking into account development plans, medium-term programs, Presidential annual programs, other high-level policy documents, and the policies, goals, and objectives determined by the KOSGEB General Assembly.
The KOSGEB Support Programs Regulation has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
The regulation covers the principles regarding support programs created by KOSGEB for enterprises and entrepreneurs, as well as technology centers, consultancy centers, institutes, and stakeholder organizations operating to ensure the development of enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Accordingly, support programs will be prepared by taking into account development plans, medium-term programs, Presidential annual programs, other high-level policy documents, and the policies, goals, and objectives determined by the KOSGEB General Assembly.
It will be possible to benefit from the same type of support provided that it is within different support programs, but documents showing the realization of expenses will be used for only one support.
Those benefiting from support programs will be required to present all kinds of accounts, information, documents, and records to control, audit, and inspection officers, and to show the actual and physical status of transactions, activities, and goods.
SUSPENSION AND CANCELLATION OF THE SUPPORT PROCESS
In case of detection of situations that do not comply with KOSGEB legislation during and after the implementation of support programs, the support process for beneficiaries will be suspended. New support applications will not be accepted until the non-compliance is resolved.
If the non-compliance is not resolved, the amount provided as support will be collected as a KOSGEB receivable with legal interest. When the non-compliance ends and upon application, the right to benefit from new support will continue.
During the implementation process of support programs, in the event of circumstances that can be accepted as force majeure, such as earthquakes, fires, floods, and similar natural disasters, legal strikes, lockouts, general epidemics, terrorist acts, sabotage, war, or the declaration of partial or general mobilization, the KOSGEB President will decide whether to suspend or continue the support process until these circumstances end.
On the other hand, the KOSGEB Support Programs Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated June 15, 2010, and numbered 27612, has been repealed.
