Published in the Official Gazette: Revaluation rate for 2023 set at 58.46 percent
According to the General Communiqué on the Tax Procedure Law published in the Official Gazette, the revaluation rate for this year has been determined as 58.46 percent.
The General Communiqué on the Tax Procedure Law, prepared by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, has been published in the Official Gazette.
The communiqué stated that, in accordance with the Tax Procedure Law, the revaluation rate is the average price increase rate in the domestic producer price index of the Turkish Statistical Institute in October of the year in which the revaluation is to be made (including October) compared to the same period of the previous year, and that this rate must be announced by the Ministry via the Official Gazette.
In this context, it was noted that the revaluation rate for 2023 has been determined as 58.46 percent.
The regulation also reported that previously published communiqués on this subject remain in effect.
Laws concerning various taxes and fees stipulate that the amounts of taxes, fees, and fines increase each year by the revaluation rate.
