The National Milk Council (USK) has set the recommended price for raw milk at a net 13.5 liras per liter to be paid to the producer, effective from January 22. In the announcement made on the USK's website, it was stated that the recommended price for raw milk would apply to raw cow's milk with 3.6 percent fat and 3.2 percent protein content.
The announcement also emphasized that if cooling, transportation, and other current expenses are covered by the producer, these costs will be paid to the producer in addition to the base price. Furthermore, it was stated that a difference of 20 kuruş will be applied for each 0.1 percent variation in the base fat and protein ratios.
