Price hike for raw milk
The National Milk Council has increased the price of raw cow's milk from 17.15 TL to 18.35 TL.
The National Milk Council, at its Board of Directors meeting held on July 16, 2025, decided to increase the recommended price for raw cow's milk. The new price, which will be effective as of August 1, 2025, has been set at 18.35 TL per liter. This price represents the net amount that will reach the producer, excluding the raw milk subsidy.
The decision was taken by majority vote and applies to raw milk with a 3.6 percent fat and 3.2 percent protein content. In cases where producers cover cooling, transportation, and other current expenses, these costs will be paid additionally. Furthermore, a price difference of 27 kuruş will be applied for every 0.1 change in fat and protein ratios.
Raw milk prices will be re-evaluated in the September 2025 period.
