Second price hike for LPG in 24 hours: Autogas prices exceed 40 liras in major cities

Autogas prices have been hiked for the second time within 24 hours. Following a 1.45 lira increase in the price per liter on October 1 due to the rise in the Special Consumption Tax (SCT), a new refinery-based hike of 4.65 liras has been applied to LPG, effective from midnight.

Following the latest increase, the price per liter of LPG has risen above 40 liras in major cities. There have been no changes to gasoline and diesel prices.

Current autogas prices by city and district are as follows:

  • - Ankara: 41.29 liras
  • - Istanbul European Side: 41.20 liras
  • - Izmir: 41.20 liras
  • - Istanbul Anatolian Side: 40.60 liras

Fuel prices may show slight variations between cities depending on changes in refinery exit prices, tax regulations, and distribution costs.
