SGK announces: February period premium debt payment deadline extended
The Social Security Institution (SGK) has announced that SGK premium debts for the February 2024 period can be paid using VAT refunds until April 26, 2024.
A statement regarding premium debts has been issued by the Social Security Institution (SGK).
SGK premium debts for the February 2024 period can be paid using VAT refunds until April 26, 2024.
The following statement was made by the SGK regarding the matter:
"Upon the notification by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance that delays may occur in the offsetting of taxpayers' VAT refund receivables against the 2024/February period SGK premium debt until April 20, 2024, due to the Ramadan Feast holiday coinciding with the second week of April 2024, it has been decided to extend the due date for said offsets until April 26, 2024, on a one-time basis. Accordingly, for employers employing insured individuals subject to clause (a) of the first paragraph of Article 4 of Law No. 5510, whose wages are paid for work performed between the 1st and 30th of each month, the due date will be applied as April 26, 2024, in the event that the insurance premium debt for February 2024 is paid by offsetting it against VAT refund receivables."
