Shuttle service fees to increase in Istanbul
Demands for price hikes for school and personnel shuttle services in Istanbul are on the agenda. Due to rising costs, service operators are continuing their negotiations with the municipality.
Following negotiations held in Ankara, a 30 percent increase in school shuttle fees was decided. Following this development, a similar demand for a price hike has come to the agenda in Istanbul.
Günhan Sinar, President of the Istanbul Chamber of General Shuttle Vehicle Operators, stated that they are requesting a 50 percent increase from the municipality for school shuttles. For personnel shuttles, a 100 percent increase demand has been voiced.
Shuttle operators in Istanbul continue to push for price hikes due to rising costs. The negotiations are expected to be concluded shortly.
