Sivas's unique honey finds its place on tables around the world
Natural honey collected from local beekeepers in Sivas is being offered to consumers both in Turkey and in many countries including Europe, the USA, and Canada following rigorous analysis and packaging processes.
Honey obtained from aromatic plants grown in the high-altitude plateaus of Sivas is attracting significant interest abroad due to its organic quality. A company operating in the city supplies approximately 4 thousand tons of honeycomb and strained honey to the domestic market annually, while also exporting to Asia, the USA, and Canada, primarily to European Union countries.
The company owner, İbrahim Doğan, stated that they have been working in the sector since 1995 and have dealership networks in numerous cities. Doğan said, "Our honeycomb is a product unique to our region. Our flora is quite rich; we deliver the honey we collect from the Sivas, Erzincan, and Erzurum regions to consumers both in Turkey and around the world. Because our altitude is high, special plants such as thyme and milkvetch grow, and these increase the quality of our honey."
Providing information about exports to Europe and Arab countries, Doğan said, "Our products are among the honeys accepted by the world in terms of quality. Honey is one of our country's important assets, and we deliver it both domestically and abroad. Especially with honeycomb, we offer products that are completely natural, made by the bees."

Highlighting the intense demand for the honey abroad, Doğan stated, "We moved our center in Germany to Austria, and from there, we distribute to countries such as France, Germany, Italy, and England. We reach all European Union countries. Furthermore, the USA, Canada, Asia, and the Arab geography also receive our honey. Strained honey is also our product, but in honeycomb, no human hand touches it; it is produced entirely by the labor of the bee, and its organic characteristic is very important. We are receiving positive feedback from all over the world."
Processed to high-quality standards, Sivas honey is analyzed at the factory in the organized industrial zone and delivered to all corners of the world in secure packaging. Through the cooperation it has established with beekeepers in the region, the company both contributes to the local economy and raises the brand value of Turkish honey in the international market.
