"IT WILL PROVIDE GREAT BENEFITS"

Emphasizing that the support call will make a significant contribution to the development of the solar energy sector, Chairman Murzioğlu said, "Solar energy is both an environmentally friendly and an economical energy source. Our industrial SMEs investing in solar energy will benefit both the national economy and environmental protection. With this call from KOSGEB, we hope that the use of solar energy in industry will increase and carbon emissions will decrease. Within the scope of the call, projects aimed at increasing the use of renewable energy sources and ensuring the sustainability of clean and reliable energy in industry are supported. The application conditions require that businesses have a medium-risk, low-risk, good, or very good risk group status according to the Findeks credit rating index, that the financial balance sheet or net sales revenue in the business's last fiscal year data is greater than the total project budget, and that they keep books on a balance sheet basis in the last approved fiscal year. The total project budget must be at least 1 million TL," he said.

"SUPPORT UPPER LIMIT IS 14 MILLION TL"
In his statement, Murzioğlu also mentioned the energy consumption conditions of the proposal call, saying, "The business's total energy consumption for the last 12 months prior to the month of the project application must be above a certain value. The support upper limit for the solar energy investments call is 14 million TL, which is repayable. The project support rate is applied as 60 percent for the solar energy investments call. Support rates will be higher in some provinces. The deadline for the project application has been set as November 30, 2024.
